Identifying Features:
Body generally black.
Length from head to apex of abdomen about 2cm (compare to Sycanus sp. 2).
Anterior lobe of pronotum rugose.
Basal half of corium black and the apical half yellow (compare to Sycanus sp. 2).
Degree of curvature of connexivum segments is highest at the second connexival segement and the rest of the segments forming a steeper slope (compare to Sycanus sp. 2)
